The international meeting between boxing clubs of Malta and England has been held in Malta on November 20-21. The boxers from Lions Brentwood, Lansbury, Sittingbourne (England) and St Julian's, The Game, Sliema I & J fitness, Bertu's ABC, Ying Yang (Malta) participated at this event.

 

The competition consisted of 17 bouts, including the contest in new Olympic discipline - Women boxing. It's worth mentioning that this fight became the first international experience for Maltese boxer Louanna Marmara. Moreover, she started it by winning over her opponent Taylor from Sittingbourne boxing club.

 

This boxing event ended on the score of 9-8 with the minimum advantage for the guests from United Kingdom.
